I am a painter and sculptor from Long Island, NY. I received my B.F.A. from The University of North Georgia. I have found my joy as a full-time traveling artist, selling out my last three showings between October 2017 through January 2018, and most recently being awarded 2nd place by the Beverly Hills Art Show. I have been blessed to travel the country working from my home base in Atlanta, Ga. My art is represented in Atlanta, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills. Primarily, I look to bring both the materials and subject matter of my work back to a primal place; a state of timelessness. I am interested in building a work of art that I could essentially create within nature or out in the wilderness. With cotton, pine, mud and my hands, this is all possible. My work is an ongoing experiment with the female and figurative form. At this time I am exploring the timeless romanticism that she reveals by capturing classic Greaco-Roman poses within a contemporary setting. I investigate the sensuous mystique of the form in as raw a state as possible, using only colors that could be pulled from the human body or directly from the earth. I use classical posing for my forms to preserve the timelessness, and in accordance with mother nature look to create a work of art that will never go out of style.
